Only about one percent of the population is interested in enlightenment or moksha. Of those only one percent attain enlightenment or moksha. It may look very difficult to attain but it is not. Millions of people in the past 7,000 years have attained it. Following are the steps to follow if you are interested in attaining enlightenment or moksha:
You should be qualified. Yes, there are qualifications for enlightenment. No teacher will tell you that.
And you need to let go of the idea of who you think you are and what the world is about.
A qualified teacher who is enlightened or if they are not enlightened at least, they should be able to teach with the right methodology.
A teaching and method of teaching. The teacher should be guiding you through the conclusions that you need to get to. Most teachers or gurus start by stating the conclusions and so it doesn’t make any sense to people. Moreover, they talk to their students from their level and expect students to understand it. It is easier for the teacher to get to the student’s level and then teach.
If these conditions are fulfilled, then you are all set. But unfortunately, there are lot of gurus out there who talk nice but are only interested in fueling their ego by collecting people or developing god complex.
